#TRASHCHALLENGE: The Safe And Clean Challenge
Posted on March 18, 2019
Initially launched in 2015, this new #Trashchallenge has seen an explosion only this year at the beginning of March.
All around the world people, especially younger ones, are challenging themselves and friends to clean up the litter in some areas of their cities. Whether they are in city centres or in rural areas it doesn't matter, they are still cleaning up the rubbish.
From Mumbai to the UK, this engaging new challenge has already seen more than 25,000 people involved since the start of the month.
Start small to make a big difference, right?
So, how can we contribute to this expanding programme and help to make a difference for our beloved mature nature? By simply following these few steps:
- Find a place covered in litter;
- Make sure to wear gloves and to have enough bags;
- Take a picture of the before and after the cleanup;
- CLEAN IT UP;
- Post on social media the photos to encourage other people to do the same
And don't forget to pay attention to what is recyclable!
It is said that in around 500 years the oceans will host more plastic than fish, isn't it a scary prediction?
It only takes a few minutes to put the trash in the right bin, everyone can do it.
Let's start cleaning up after ourselves before it's too late, or is it already too late?
