A man stumped up to pay more than $500 for a stranger's tyres. He could not bare to see her taking to risk her safety.
A Gold Coast man did a random act of kindness to pay more than $500 for a stranger’s tyres, only because he couldn't bare to see the woman taking risks for her safety.
According to Tegan Langley it was nothing short of a miracle. Langley was approached by a stranger in a Pimpama McDonald’s carpark on Wednesday.
The stranger was concerned of the poor condition of Ms Langley's tyres. Tony, the stranger, felt himself uncomfortable about letting her drive off with the tyres.
Ms Langley said “I explained I needed new ones”.
“But at the moment I couldn't afford it”.
The man led her to Bridgestone Pimpama where he paid $535 for three new tyres and a wheel alignment, after he listened to Ms Langley's situation.
“There were a lot tears on my behalf,” said Ms Langely.
Although the stranger did not expect anything in return, he asked her to one day do the same thing for someone else in need.
Ms Langely shared on Facebook the heartwarming encounter and asked on social media to help her find the man she only knew as Tony.
Tony did not leave any information or contact details about himself.
Her facebook post got in a short time nearly 31,000 likes in two days and was shared 7,000 times.
Ms Langley refferred Tony as a gentle giant, and his two sons have been celebrated as a heroes on social media for fixing tyres that were bound to ‘blow.’
“Tony if this ever reaches you,” she said.
“Thank you for your utterly selfless act, your kind words, for restoring my faith in humanity.”
“From the bottom of my heart thank you.”
