Grandparents' Day: Google pays tribute to them with their doodle.

On 26th July, the "Grandfather's Day" is celebrated in many countries. The celebration has religious motives. The Catholic Church commemorates San Joaquín and Santa Ana, parents of the Virgin Mary, and grandparents of Jesus. Therefore, today, Google pays tribute to these special people such as grandparents with their Doodle.

Grandparents are that kind of people who love you above all things, and who are there to help you when you need it. Some are so important that they replace the father figure many times. That is why we must know how to value the importance they have in our life. They are unique and irreplaceable.

This is a good day to value them. Because in these times that we live, grandparents are a figure that has been abandoned and marginalized, hardly receiving any visits from their family. But when they are necessary they are the ones who first resort to taking care of the grandson, go to pick him up at the farm and feed him.

So we have to remember that they were the ones who made it possible for the family to exist, that without them our life would not be a reality.

Today we thank those grandparents who have cared for and loved us since we were children, because with their help and affection we have managed to be who we are today.
